ParticleWave is a software engineering firm which provides software strategy and analysis, design, programming, and engineering testing. Our work philosophy is that the customer must be advised at all times about the progress of the project, and that our the work we do must be tailored to the needs of the project at hand. Each software project has different needs depending on the size, the experience of the members of the team, the type of software, the revenue objectives, etc. We do not have a "one size fits all approach". We've learned through hard experience with software pedantry that the more we keep it simple and use English as our primary analysis and design language, the more we are able to communicate effectively not only to our fellow programmers, but also to our customers and their users.

Management

John Lockwood
Chief Executive Officer

John brings over ten years of programming experience to the company, with five years as a software engineering contractor. He founded John Lockwood Consulting in 1997, a successful consultancy, and incorporated ParticleWave in February, 1999.   Prior to this, he had served as a senior engineer at Synergex International and as a software engineering consultant at the Windward Group, where he was responsible for delivering software for such firms as Apple Computers and Federal Express. Earlier, at Borland International (now Inprise Corporation), he supported Windows and client server developers using Borland C++ as a Senior Engineer on the Windows advisor line.  Prior to this computer industry experience, John held varied IT positions as a graphics designer, microcomputer instructor, and founder of an microcomputer services company.   He  holds a Masters Degree in the History and Philosophy of Science.
